当時のアウトドアウェアを思わせるアノラック型のデザインに、大きなフロントポケットや各部のドローコードなど、クラシックで実用的なディテールを採用。素材には、表面にシワ加工を施したナイロンタフタを使用しています。軽やかな着心地と独特の風合いが、長年着込んだようなヴィンテージ感を生み出します。

日本の登山史に残る一着をルーツに、現代の街やアウトドアシーンにも馴染むよう仕上げたヤッケです。

On May 9, 1956, a Japanese expedition achieved the first ascent of Manaslu in the Nepalese Himalayas. This jacket recreates the “Manaslu Expedition Yakke,” originally used during the historic expedition as an outer layer to protect the team’s down jackets from the rain.

Its anorak-style construction is inspired by the functional outdoor clothing of the era, featuring a large front pocket and adjustable drawcords. The nylon taffeta shell is specially treated to create a naturally crinkled texture, giving the jacket a lightweight feel and a distinctive vintage character.

Rooted in a landmark moment in Japanese mountaineering history, this classic expedition jacket has been reinterpreted for contemporary outdoor and everyday wear.
